I missed a day, sorry!

Yesterday was:

2 sections of oat waffles, again, for breakfast with honey and about 17 pounds of berries on top. That is getting OLD.

Lunch: Turkey and gouda with sprouts on wheat

Dinner: Tilapia, brown rice, watermelon and cut up veggies. I ate 2 svgs of brown rice though and I am pretty sure more than 1 serving of tilapia

Treat: Sugar free, whole wheat brownie. Yes, it was as bad as it sounds.

Didn't exercise a stitch.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

Almost forgot!

Yesterday, I'm 38.8 pounds away from goal. Woot!

I cried like 35% of the day

You did so good!!!! You are strong! I am inspired!

I went on a date with Brandon last night and got back too late to post.. But it's 6:48 Saturday morning and I'm doing this before I even pee.

Yesterday:
45 minutes cardio at the gym
Breakfast: 1 c. oatmeal, almond milk, fruit, brown sugar sub.
Lunch: Turkey dog on whole wheat bread
Dinner: DATE NIGHT!!! 1 sushi roll, 2 steamed pot stickers, some calamari

Now here's where I went astray. Brandon has a client who paid him in a homemade cheesecake and stood there and watched us eat it (aw, the poor indigents of family law). It was awkward to say no so I said yes. So I didn't make it sugar free through day one. But I don't know how to get around that land mind. "Here: i made this and I am dishing you a piece- eat it!" Thoughts?

To being as good as Becky today!,
Love- J

I survived......

I survived the first day of this thing we are doing, but I think I am detoxing...I wanted chocolate SOOOO bad. But I am very proud of myself that I did not eat any. I noticed that I didn't snack as much either. Woot!

So here is what I want to accomplish:
1. Lose 15 lbs.
2. Get into a good eating pattern where I don't NEED sugar to feel better.

I will let myself have a treat twice a week (probably wed and sat) because I want to be realistic with my eating.

Here is what I ate today:

1 serving whole oatmeal with 3 teaspoons sugar and 1/4 cup milk
1 slice 45 calorie whole wheat bread with 1 Tbsp. Peanut butter
1 cup cantaloupe
2 eggs with two slices thin deli ham
2- 45 calorie wheat bread with thin layer jam
1 banana
2/3 cafe rio salad ( I might have had part of a kids quesadilla......mwahahah)
1 bunch of red grapes

WHAT I WANTED TO EAT....ANYTHING CHOCOLATE.......

Alright Rebecca...

So I hope you don't mind that I named the blog The Mom Haircut Project. I thought it summed up what we're trying to do here. To not let ourselves slip into capri pants, keds, and general frumpdom.

So I thought a lot about what I want to accomplish and how I want to do it. Here are the basics...

  1. I want to lose 40 pounds (yep, 40)
  2. I want to me able to accomplish a physical task I never have before. (I haven't decided what that is yet, but I think it's going to be breaking an hour on my 10k)
  3. I want to do it by following my little fibromyalgia diet and exercise.
So here are my eating rules:

  1. No white (especially sugar)
  2. No red meat
  3. No fried food
  4. No processed (especially msg, aspertame and nitrates)
  5. No caffeine (including chocolate)
I don't think I can tackle them all at once so I'm going to start with one at a time and add each successive one after 2 weeks. I'm starting big- no white/no sugar since it is the one that is the hardest.

So tomorrow, look forward to my food journal, what I did to exercise and how many pounds I have left to goal!

Thanks for doing this with me- love ya!
